INDIANAPOLIS (May 17) – Passion, determination, and focus were the overarching points delivered by Indy Car racers and Honda Performance Development engineers during the Honda STEAM Connections Tour in conjunction with Purdue’s University’s M-STEM3 500 Student Fair at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Honda STEAM Connections Tour showcases the science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) that are the underpinnings of motorsports and the automotive industry.

ATLANTA (May 10, 2018) – Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil competitors Zach Veach and Pippa Mann will be the featured speakers May 15-16 during the Honda STEAM Connections Tour in conjunction with Purdue University’s M-STEM3 500 Student Fair at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The two-day event in the East Chalet will showcase the science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math behind motorsports and the automotive industry to Indiana middle school and high school students.

Honda STEAM Connections Tour, Hinchcliffe Rev Up Alabama Crowd

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (April 18) – James Hinchcliffe eased off the clutch, spun the rear tires and took the green flag for a short-lived trial run of the University of Alabama College of Engineering’s Formula SAE race car.

The Verizon IndyCar Series driver’s quick lap helped team members unveil the race car in front of more than 300 area middle school and high school students – and college students transitioning between classes – during the Honda STEAM Connections Tour event April 18 on campus.
