Keith Bruce to Participate in SJSU’s “Powering Silicon Valley”

President Quint Events, Former SB50 CEO to Moderate Key Panels

Keith Bruce, now President of Quint Events and F1 Experience, brings additional firepower to next week’s “Powering Silicon Valley” STEAM Sports Summit and Insider Luncheon Nov. 3 at San Jose State.  

Bruce, who formerly guided perhaps the most successful Super Bowl in NFL history as head of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee in the Bay Area, will moderate a panel featuring executives from some of the Bay Area’s top sports teams and organizations as well as one focusing on Silicon Valley companies that impact sports and entertainment.

“I am excited to participate in this new STEAM Sports Summit focused on the integration of STEM initiatives and sports,” said Bruce. “The time has come for STEM-related programs to become more integral in the presentation and consumption of live sporting events and entertainment programming.

“I was proud of what we accomplished at Super Bowl 50 by showcasing the best of Silicon Valley and how technology can transform the way sporting events can give back and contribute to so many different stakeholders. I look forward to engaging that theme at the STEAM Sports Summit."

QuintEvents, an industry-leading sports travel/event/experience company, houses the company’s new Formula One business. Bruce becomes the new President of Formula One Experiences, working with all 21 F1 events across the globe. F1 Experiences provides fans and corporations alike a full range of experiential, hospitality, travel and ticket packages for the entire Formula One race series.  He also directs all sales and marketing efforts for  QuintEvents International group of properties.  

As CEO & President of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee in San Francisco, he successfully led the planning, marketing, fundraising, legacy, technology integration, operational delivery and execution of Super Bowl 50 events and activities, in addition to supporting the NFL’s production of Super Bowl 50 game day.   His incorporation of Chevron’s STEM Sports Village into the Super Bowl Fan Experience at Super Bowl City provided recognition of how science, technology, engineering and math impact sports and entertainment.

Prior to the Super Bowl 50 appointment, Bruce served for eight years as  President of SportsMark Management Group, an Omnicom owned global sports event management and hospitality agency specializing in managing commercial interests across major global sports events including the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, NFL Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four and other major sporting events and organizations.

He currently serves as a board member/ advisor to several sports tech start-ups in the Bay Area. Bruce also served as the interim CEO of the North American Soccer League, a position he held from January to July 2017.
