The University of California-Berkeley was the scene of Honda’s IndyCar third STEAM tour of season featuring driver Max Chilton, HPD engineer Matt Taylor and Firestone/Bridgestone engineer Cara Adams.  While Chilton and Taylor explained the STEAM behind the Chip Ganassi-owned IndyCar team, Adams went through the intricacies of tire development and technology for the race circuit as well as how lessons learned on the track transcended to consumer tires to area high school students who had come to campus to learn STEAM’s role in motorsports development.
